OFF TO MIDDLE SCHOOL

Its hard to believe this little beauty is off to middle school in a couple weeks!, last year she was so nervous about middle school but she seems a bit more ready the closer the time gets!.. after rushing home from our mini beach vacay, we made it up to the middle school just in time with 10 minutes to spare for taking care of business day, to get her pictures, student id, locker, fee’s and to pick up her schedule!

the locker was the MAIN thing she was nervous about but after messing with it a bit she feels a little more comfortable, still has some issues with getting it open the first try, but that will get better with practice!

I’m not as nervous as I was with ryley for my sweet bailey to start middle school, but I am a bit sad that she is old enough to be a 6th grader. but I know she will do great!

MINI BEACH VACATION

Sunday Aug 18th we had reservations in Lincoln city for a couple nights, that late morning ryley had a dr appt so as soon as we left the dr’s office we grabbed subway and headed out of town, grandma and grandpa were taking their trailer so they had already left town! once we got into town we stopped at the trailer park to see grandma and grandpa, the kids played!

then we went and checked into our hotel and unpacked and drove over to the beach to let the kids play for awhile! it was such a nice day out!

after playing on the beach for a couple hours we headed back to our hotel and took the kids down to the pool to swim for a bit

then we cleaned up and went to BK Mulligans for dinner! yummy food and great atmosphere!

after dinner we dropped peyton off at grandma and grandpa’s trailer so she could stay the night with them (it was already after 9 pm) and we headed back to the hotel and watched a redbox movie! the next morning we went down to the lobby for continental breakfast which turned out to be a good one with eggs and biscuits and gravy, sausage, potatoes, pancakes and lots of other things to choose from! then I took ryley and bailey down for a morning swim while brandon and brody went up to get peyton to bring her back to swim!

after swimming we cleaned up and headed to get grandma and grandpa and drove to newport to the aquarium, it had been several years since weve been and I had some coupons so we tried it out!

peyton and brody had fun at the aquarium, ryley and bailey just kinda tagged along… then that evening we went to the casino for a good buffet dinner and took the kids back to swim at the hotel and I got to relax in the hot tub and sauna for awhile, then brandon took ryley over to grandma and grandpa’s to stay with them that night…

the next morning we cleaned up and went down to breakfast in the lobby again and checked out of the hotel

then went over to the trailer park

some of us snacked and ate lunch..

then that afternoon we went to the outlets to do some school clothes shopping!

brody was bored ha!…

after shopping for a few hours we had to start heading back to salem because bailey had taking care of business day and pictures and all that stuff that night, which we barely made it back in time, we got home around 7 and it ended at 7:30 so we quickly did her hair and she did her make-up and we left! we had a fun mini beach vacation!
