BRODY'S THING...

Brody has always had a little thing where he has to move his hands while i'm nursing him, either rubbing my side, scratching my neck, chest... its just what he has always done as long as i can remember, and now when he has a bottle he likes to hit it, like hard! .. sometimes he hits it so hard he knocks the bottle out of his mouth, or he has even smacked himself?!! silly boy

EASTER 2011

HIPPITY, HOPPITY... EASTER'S ON ITS WAY...

The day bepfore Easter we always have lots of fun things to keep us busy, so Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to head to an Easter Egg Hunt, but sadly the one we chose to go to was too crowded and they weren't letting anyone in by the time we got there, the girls were so bummed, so instead we went to the mall to visit the Easter Bunny, eat lunch and grab a Starbucks!, then we decided to head home and daddy could hide eggs out back (since the weather was so nice out)

Then it was time to color some Easter Eggs!!

Then after Dinner, it was time to plant the "magical" jelly beans

 getting stuff ready for the Easter Bunny!!!

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

Our super smart little Bailey has been in a reading program called battle of the Books all year, missing recess's, going in early, and LOTS of studying at home, reading books and remembering all about them, she really enjoys it and has a great little team with 3 other kids combined from all three of the 3rd grade classrooms, and her team WON from Gubser beating out 7 other teams (even 5th graders) so on friday she got to miss school and go to the championship tournament, held at the Kroc Center! her team did really good, we were there for 4 hours (thankfully brody slept thru some of  it and peyton had snacks and goodies to keep her busy) although they did not win, we were still so proud of our little book worm!

The Certificate she received from school the following Monday!
