BACK TO SCHOOL 2015

Wednesday Sept 9th was the first day of school but the night before we walked up to Gubser (like the past several years) to meet her teacher and to bring all her supplies.

Brody got a special book we read before bedtime..

Ryley was the first one off to school.. i cant believe my guy is a SENIOR!! so bittersweet!

and he even drove himslef off to school for the first time..

next it was this girls first day of 8th grade! i told her to do a cute pose so the pic below is what i got lol

then it was time to take my baby to preschool…as if this morning wasnt already emotional with sending ryley off to his last year fo highschool, having my BABY start school was pretty tough!



but he was all smiles and so excited to go!


then finally it was time for my baby girl to go, she was happy and excited to see her friends again! (and she was very happy about her teacher!)

like always she lets me take way too many pics of her while holding my soon-to-be-uncool sign. lol

I’m so thankful (and a little shocked) that she still will turn around and blow me a kiss and wave goodbye to me when i drop her off.. and she has no shame in it either! I adore that girl!

then at 11:30 it was time to pick little man up! he had a great forst day, but told me he missed me : ) (if he only knew that i missed him even more)

as always i become a little too emotional on their first day back to school, but this year was a bit tougher. i felt tears in my throat, and prayed extra prayers, while watching the clock for them to be home! but i’m so thankful they all go to good schools, and all had a great day!

THETRUEFAM’S SECOND ANNUAL WHIPPED CREAM FIGHT!

On Tuesday Sept 8th we had our whipped cream fight after heading up to peytons back to school night and coming home for dinner! they were all excited for it once again! and this year Brody actually enjoyed it!

SEATTLE TRIP 2015

On Friday Sept 4th (after daddy got off work around 2) we headed out of town for labor day weekend to Seattle!

around 6:30 we got to Tacoma and made a dinner stop at Chick fil a

yummy! I cant wait until we get one!

bright and early we headed to wild waves!

it was sunny but cold : (


so the kids rode rides first!

that evening we were supposed to go to a bbq with everyone but on the way there brody had some tummy issues so we went back to the house and stayed, he ended up being fine after a couple hours could have been something he ate, or something from the water park.. not sure but weird!

the next morning we all made a fun trip downtown to seattle!

poor brandon wasn’t feeling too great he has anxiety with big crowds and especially if he don’t know where hes going… and possibly he had a touch of something brody had the night before maybe?… so when we stopped at red robin for lunch he didn’t eat.. thankfully later that evening once we got back to the house he felt much better!

and peyton won the first round!

finally monday we left around 11 or so and headed home, but we stopped at Joe’s crab shack for a super yummy late lunch in Vancouver!


it was delicious!

it was a fun quick little last summer trip!
