A TRICK AND A TANTRUM

 

Brody has figured out and mastered how to climb up the chairs onto the dining table, and he has done this at least 763 times today!!! ugh!…..

 

 

then after breakfast and a bath, he found a pen and wanted to draw on the walls and because I took the pen away he had a meltdown!… full tantrum in effect!

 

 

NOT A BABY

18 months.
1.5 years old.
One and a half.
Where has the time gone?

 

 

I refuse to accept that my "baby" is closer to being 2 years old than he is to being a 1 year old (tears!!!)
In my heart, he is is still a baby.

 

 

But in reality, Brody is not a newborn, nor is he a baby.
He is a curious toddler! With A LOT of energy!

 

Brody likes to run and run and run outside.
He is like the Energizer Bunny.

 

I honestly don't know where these past 18 months have gone.
It feels like just yesterday he was born!!

 

PERFECT START

Were all excited for this 3 day weekend!, no plans, just relaxing all weekend, and we had a perfect start, we grilled some yummy dinner, got half price shakes at Sonic, and watched the beautiful thunder/lighting storm!!

then today, we did some house chores, daddy worked out in the yard for awhile, we had taco’s for dinner and got some yummy sprinkle donuts for dessert!

 

 

 

FEELING BETTER

Thankfully little man is doing much better today!!!

WEEKLY PICS

I didn’t take a whole lot of pics this week, due to little man being sick.. not sure what was wrong but he had diarrhea for almost 6 days, crazy thing is as soon as we took him off of the formula (which was a new can I bought) he quit, so were wondering if the can was bad??!!.. well we thru it out and he is now just drinking milk, and done with formula.. thankful to not have to pay for that spendy stuff anymore but kinda sad because its another milestone that means my baby is no longer a baby anymore.. he’s a toddler : (.. earlier in the week bailey had her final choir concert of the year, unfortunately because of brody being sick I had to miss it, the concert wasn’t until 7 at night which is close to his bedtime and with him being sick he has been SUPER fussy all week, but I did snap these cute pics before she left!

 

 

brody helped daddy change the battery in the ceiling in our bedroom, this is our huge ladder so it made me nervous he was up there but he loved it!

 

 

he loves books so much right now!!!

 

 

poor baby love was getting pretty drained by Wednesday night

 

 

by tonight he was getting better still pretty fussy but no diarrhea!!!

WATER FIGHT!!!

After we came home from the Iris Fest Saturday, it was pretty warm out, so we layed brody down for a nap and let the girls have at each other with their water squirters …. it was pretty fun to watch!

when bailey decided to come squirt dad… she had to know she would get it! lol : )

IRIS FEST 2012

Saturday morning we loaded up and headed over to the Iris Fest, we met grandma and grandpa there, it was perfect weather not too hot or too cold, brody was tired since this was exactly at his naptime and he had woken up at 6:30 am… but he was a trooper!

 

 

 

 

 

he kept playing peek-a-boo with this Frisbee..cutie!

 

 

then he fell asleep towards the end!

 

 

but we had to wake him up, to head over to keizer station where we, ate lunch at Taco del mar, and walked over to target to do a little shopping, then over to the rides and performance stage where bailey was singing with her choir!

 

 

 

Peyton was happy to see Briana!

 

 

such a cute performance, but brody was absolutely BEAT!!!!
