I really cant believe were already here again…the past year just seemed to fly by and summer seemed like it was only a month this year! …Bailey started school Tuesday the 3rd since she was a 6th grader this day was just for her at the middle school to go and get a little more confortable with it before the following day when the other grades would be there. she had a little stomach bug going on and honestly would not of went to school had it not been the first day, but she insisted and made it through….after her first day she was really starting to like middle school!
my big 6th grader as beautiful as ever!
and I didn’t walk her in like a did ryley but I did still snap some pics…
that later afternoon we walked up to the school (like every year before) for meet the teacher night and to find out who peytons teacher was and if she had friends in her classroom!
Peyton got Mrs Ball, which she really wanted her so she was so happy about that, but she didn’t get hardly any of her close friends in her class, so she was a bit bummed about that part
after we went home we ate a yummy dinner from the grill, took bath’s/showers, got our new clothes picked out, packed lunches and read before bed!.. the next morning our day started at 6:30 I got ryley up and took him to school then when I came back I finished getting the back to school breakfast party going… (I snapped this pic of ryley walking in) (bailey actually was feeing worse so she ended up staying home this day)
got the table decorated and a fun breakfast
peyton was so surprised when she woke up to see the fun breakfast I had planned for her
little man had fun too!
after breakfast and some cartoon watching around 8:30 it was time to get dressed and ready for school, of course we did our cute little annual photoschoot!
Brody knew peyton was going to school today because we had talked lots about it, but I also knew it was going to be a rough day for him.
sitting at her desk!
kisses goodbye.. I melt!
after saying our goodbye’s we went up to jamba juice, bailey had been wanting one and I figured it would be good if she would put something in her stomach..
so of course I went next door to Starbucks to get a hazelnut frapp for myself : ) (and a bagel for all of us)
the kids all got to pick what they wanted in their lunches for the first day (even special request items) bailey loves chicken salad croissants with onions, and loves cutie oranges and the nutella
peyton also wanted the chicken salad and she requested cheeto’s (she had a nutella also not sure why its not in the pic)
This momma felt no different than last year! My heart felt broken ALL day and I prayed for Peyton and Ryley constantly…that peyton would find new friends, that her teacher would make her feel comfortable, that ryley isn't around any negative people, that his teachers have his best interest at heart, and that they both love school and to learn!
Brody and I tried to stay busy at home and couldn’t wait to go and pick both of them up. Brody asked a couple times where peyton was.. (I love how he missed her). And, when it was finally time, we walked up to the school to go get her! ryley rode the bus home that day.. we were so happy to finally have our peyton and ryley home.. we will get used to this schedule again it just might talk a couple weeks… they both had good days, so that night after dinner we went up to dairy queen for blizzards for dessert!
