Our house got decorated for Easter this week.. and I had some great little helpers
a couple days before Easter we made Easter S’more’s .. and they were SO yummy!!!
Saturday morning we got up early and headed up to the church for the little kids Easter egg hunt, ryley came with us to help out with peyton, (since bailey had volleyball pictures scheduled at the same time) and I knew during the hunt with hundreds of kids and adults running around there was no way I could keep an eye on brody and peyton running all over, so it worked out great.. big brother helped peyton get a TON of candy!!!
Brody LOVED it, he had a blast running around picking candy and eggs up… (and trying to eat them as soon as he picked them up)
then it was time to head home for some lunch and get ready to color our Easter eggs..of course the girls had fun they spent over an hour making them pretty… brody lasted about 3 minutes, after he dunked one little egg in the dye, he kept wanting to eat the egg or throw it like a ball ….lol
after brody had a little nap, me and daddy hid some plastic eggs outside for the kids to find
grandpa blaine came by to drop off some flowers for me, and it was funny the shirt he showed up in and the one brody was wearing
after a yummy bbq shrimp kabobs dinner, I read the Easter story to peyton and brody… peyton was very interested, brody ..not so much.. o’well maybe next year! : )
after bath’s it was time to plant our magic jelly beans… they took turns watering them
and couldn’t wait for tomorrow morning to see if they grew…, then they put some carrots and milk out for the Easter Bunny, we said our sweet prayers and went to sleep!
