HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY RYLEY!

WOW! 14!  really?!…I just don’t even know what to say about this big number??!…

this year we didn’t really do too much for ry’s birthday, he don’t really like too many things and couldn’t even really think of much he wanted, he hasn’t been into parties since he was about 8 years old, so we just decided to have a little birthday dinner and ice cream cake on his actual birthday, grandma donna was sick so she wasn’t able to come over but grandma and grandpa nunley, and grandma frohna came to celebrate!

Ry got the new IPod 4 from his dad, that little gem is a blast!! the face time app is so cool!!

the only thing he could think of he wanted was a custom made xbox controller!! pretty crazy price for a controller if you ask me but its what he wanted?!… he also got a mcnary estates gift card for golfing!

the following saturday grandma donna was feeling better, so we planned to all go to best little roadhouse for lunch and mini golf! it was soooo hot out, the golfing was not so enjoyable : /

little man helped himself to the rolls ha!

FEELING BETTER

FINALLY after a good 7 days of brody not feeling well, he is eating and playing again!! I’m so happy to have my stinker pot boy back to normal!

keeping cool

The first couple weeks in July have been pretty warm, so we have been playing in the water a lot lately to keep cool!

1ST EAR INFECTION

On friday July 6th I knew something was not right with my baby love, he had been having fever since wednesday and not any symptoms of anything but waking up at night crying and fever, I also noticed he had a canker sore on his tongue…

after going to the dr we learned he had an ear infection, several canker sores in his mouth, and he is teething (cutting 4 teeth)

we had about 6 days of feeling like crap, poor baby couldn’t/wouldn’t eat, woke up crying every.sing.hour during the night, and just wanted to be held and snuggled.

after a few days I finally got him to eat about half of this yogurt popsicle

but every night he LOVED his walks in his stroller!

he was put on a 10 day prescription of amoxicillin, and finally after about 6 days he started to feel better and would eat! THANK GOODNESS!! it was exhausting! praying we don’t every have to deal with another ear infection again!
