VACATION: DAY 2

The next morning we woke up and went straight up to Frost… an awesome doughnut shop we just HAD to try, so many different kinds of unique yet delish doughnuts, ryley got the smoky bacon maple bar (which I don’t care for bacon so I didn’t care for that one, but brandon and ryley loved it!) I got the wedding cake one (so yummy) brandon got butterfinger blast, and the girls got sprinkles, we also tried several others like Aztec chocolate which had cayenne pepper flakes in it, but was really good!

we also stopped at the local market (just like trader joe’s) to get some fresh fruit to go with our doughnuts and while we were there I found the Goodbyn Bynto , I have been wanting to get one of these for awhile now, (I’m sure you all know my love of packing fun bento style lunches for the kids) bailey wanted one a couple years ago but the originals are $26 plus shipping (I have never found them in a store before) and are really big and after reading reviews I didn’t think bailey could eat enough food to make it worth it, BUT now they have the new smaller ones, which I got for $16 and are perfect for peyton to take to school! she had fun decorating it.

after getting around the girls, brody, morgan and I got ready and went up to the mall to the new American Girl store, let me just say it was H.U.G.E (bigger than I thought it would be) and every kind of doll and accessory you could possibly think of! it was a young girls heaven!

peyton couldn’t decide if she wanted a bitty baby or a bitty baby twin, bailey got some new clothes and glasses for her doll.

this is the baby peyton decided on! she loves it and has been inseparable from it all week long! the girls had fun, (I just can’t believe the price tag that goes along with these dolls and  accessories!)

next stop was lunch at Panera Bread, also very yummy food! and brody was starved (or so he thinks at every meal lol) after lunch we stopped in at Pinka Bella cupcakes to get some cupcakes for dessert.. (I’m obsessed with cake and cupcakes!!! always have been)

after we left the mall, we stopped at michael’s craft store (I needed some things for brody’s bday party banner I’m making) Marshalls, and Costco for dinner, (we were making tacos) the kids loved the trampoline (of course)

VACATION: DAY 1

After a long 5 hour car ride to Snohomish WA, we finally made it to Morgan and David’s new house!! the kids were excited, and we were so happy to see them all. brody was ready for some floor time, he also pulled himself up for the first time (will post video of it later)

After going to watch Nathan play some scrimmage football for a little bit, we went back to the house to clean up and get ready to meet uncle lonnie and aunt maureen, and kyle for some yummy seafood dinner at The Crab Pot..

actually brandon finished off the rest of this too lol ,we had a blast and the food was wonderful, the kids enjoyed it, so I guess it was worth the $108 dinner!

after we were stuffed, we headed back to the house to relax and watch the kids play some just dance…

not too much later and it was time for bed and these two little ones were the first to fall asleep, guess all that dancing wore them out!

BRODY: NINE MONTHS OLD

My Little Stinker Pot,

It is crazy to think you have been in my arms for the same amount of time you were in my tummy. and even though I loved feeling you inside of me, I love kissing your sweet face even more!  Your 9th month has been a fun one!.. you are now mobile.., not fast or cruising yet.. but you are pulling your little self all around with those arms. we love watching you get up on all 4 hands and knee’s and rock back and forth, soon you will take off!

You are becoming such a giggle box! you are very ticklish, and love it when daddy throws you up in the air, or “pretends” to drop you… your not afraid of that kind of stuff which your brother and sister’s always were!… that tells us you just might be a little wild one!
we love to watch you in your jumparoo, because now you can really jump and bounce your little heart out, its so funny to watch! you like to make lots of sounds, and your new thing this month is to growl at people…. sometimes just playfully and sometimes when your mad. your favorite word to say is still dada. I try to get you to say "mama" and you'll look at me and say "dada" with a big grin --- little toot!

and one of the biggest things for you this month is you FINALLY got 2 teeth!!! they are just barely coming up but the 2 bottom teeth are there! which means you will soon be able to eat a few more table foods with us!, you love our food way more than your baby food! you like avocado, potatoes, yogurt, crackers, cottage cheese, toast, most all fruits, and now I’m excited to try lots more! mommy stopped nursing last month and you dont seem to mind that at all! you love your bottles and still eat about 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours or so.

You are doing better at night you will either only wake up once (to eat) or sleep thru the night, which is wonderful! you are still in our room in your crib, were not sure just how long we will keep you in there, but it works for now!
Oh my sweet, sweet son! you are perfect in each and every way and I’m so happy to call you mine!. Happy 3/4 Birthday little boy, I can’t wait to see what the next month brings!
