Especially during the holidays and especially with popcorn!!! Brody and I made many trips up to target over the past month and he was a great little shopping buddy!

ELFIS’S SHENANIGANS

When Elfis returned from the North Pole, we knew we were in for some fun. and I don’t care what anyone thinks about The Elf on the Shelf…. we LOVE him!!! there is nothing as precious as hearing the pitter patter of little feet racing down the hall each morning during the whole month of December and hearing peyton say “where is silly Elfis”. She loved telling her friends at school about the silly things Elfis did each night and couldn’t wait to see what he would do next! she LOVES him!!! and Brody is really starting to also!  As crazy as this little elf can be, He’s definitely one of my favorite Christmas traditions… and I’m pretty sure the kids feel the same way! : )

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

On Tue Dec 11th after dinner we loaded up the suburban in our jammies ran thru dairy queen for our peppermint blizzards and drove thru the Christmas lights, this year brody was loving them!!! some houses went all out and some were pretty cheesy. ryley and the girls were in the back seat (but they wouldn’t let me take a pic… I tried)

On Sat Dec 8th we woke up and got all ready to go visit Santa and mail our letters to the North Pole!!

now I know it looks like little man was going to mail his letter.. but he attempted it a few times but just couldn’t drop it in lol

even though we kept telling him to let go .. he wouldn’t so he took it with him ha!

we ran up to the food court for some quick lunch!

then headed to the Woodburn outlets to go visit Santa

this is completely opposite of how I thought it would turn out.. I was pretty sure brody wouldn't want anything to do with him.. but I was wrong..

then we did just a little bit of shopping before heading home

then later that night we went up to watch the Keizer Light Parade.. it was pretty cold so we ran thru Starbucks first to get some hot cocoa’s to keep us warm

Brody was a bit afraid at first and really tired!!!

we had such a fun magical Christmas day as a family!!
