For a 2 year old…. I cant even remember for sure what he was crying about here I think because he wanted to bring his blanket with him outside?.. then I looked at him wrong, then because the sky is blue!?.. you get the picture??!.. lol
I’m such a mean mom snapping away as he throws his little tantrum.. but don't worry he was all better after about 2 min and we were on our way to the park : )
Of being sick and tired!
Since Sat the 9th one of us has been sick.. it started with bailey actually in the beginning of feb but she only had a sore throat.. then ryley started getting the sore throat then on sat the 9th Brandon started not feeling well and by this time ryley was coughing.. then Sunday peyton came down with it.. with fever and coughing.. then on Wed the 13th Brody started having diarrhea and threw up that night and again on Valentines night (although now were starting to think he may have a milk allergy)… and as of yesterday 2/21 I came down with the crud.. coughing and feeling like poo…. poor peyton has been the worst, she had fever for 3 days then I “thought” she was getting better and sent her to school on Valentines day, but she came home that afternoon coughing like crazy!!! we have bought every kind of medicine there is for kids, a new humidifier, boogie wipes (because her nose was running so much she wiped it constantly and made a huge scab on the tip of her nose) vapor bath, pedialite… seriously I was at target every day buying new stuff to help her (and brody) I finally took her to the Dr this last week and she is getting better slowly but it is just a bad cold but they did a breathing treatment on her in the office and it helped a ton, so they gave us an inhaler for her to use at home and it helps a lot too! little man is doing much better since we took him off milk, and now everyone but me is on the road to recovery… hopefully mine wont last as long…
we did take a few walks thru out the week trying to get some vitamin D
and this little sickie thought a happy meal might make her feel better so as much as I hate mcd’s I took them up to play and eat!

Last week I was able thru Bzz Agent to try the new Garnier Olia hair color for free!, this product is so great!! the smell is unlike most hair dyes that smell like amonia. It also was easy to apply and the rich color was amazing it made my hair soft and smooth, not dry at all! If you are wanting to color your hair from home and get the most for your money try Garnier Olia!
This Valentines Day did NOT turn out the way I had hoped, most of the family was sick, peyton had stayed home from school the 3 days before with a fever and cough, Ryley and Brandon were both coughing and not feeling well, and little man had some sort of tummy bug going on (now you know why I chose the title for this post ha!)… so the day was pretty uneventful, the kids went to school, I took brody up to the park to play for a bit to get out of the house, we gave the kids their Valentines gifts early this year because last Sunday my mom gave the kids all each a bag of surprises and goodies and so we decided they could use their stuff now so the girls got new lunch bags with goodies stuffed inside, ryley got points for his xbox live acct, and brody got a couple little sussy toys.
Bailey had to make her own Valentine box this year and had to be in a category, she picked a G rated movie.. so we made mater.. I thought it turned out pretty cute AND she even WON 1st place for her category!!!

these were the girls teacher gifts this year.. my friend gave me the idea she found on pinterest…bailey has a guy teacher so hers is blue and peyton has a girl that’s why its pink! : )
grandma and grandpa came over that night and brought over the kids some valentines gifts and goodies, and me my birthday present…I bought a heart shaped pizza although most of us weren’t feeling well enough to even eat much of it.. I had planned on having sparkling cider and greek salad and ice cream for dessert but nobody even wanted anything else.
Even though this year it didn’t turn out the way I had planned I love a day focused on celebrating LOVE…what a sweet reminder it is of Christ’s LOVE for me and the blessing that He has given me in a family!!! It’s truly overwhelming! I LOVE my sweet family!!! …so much that it could never be “hid!”

I did it! I turned thirty-five.
It was a great day of celebrating. Even though my little Peyton Grace was down with a cold, she was so sweet telling me happy Birthday a dozen times and making me sweet cards! We had dinner Reservations at Benihana’s I have been dying to try it and with a $30 free Birthday gift certificate, it was the perfect time to try it out! the kids were all excited to go and and the food did not disappoint.. we will be going back ..(probably for another Birthday!) Our friends came with us to celebrate.. it was so much fun!
It was a day that reminded me to be thankful.
Thankful for the 35 years that I’ve lived.
Thankful that I’m tired because of four precious kids.
Thankful that I’m starting to look a little less “young and fresh!”
Thankful that God has blessed me in more ways than I could have ever imagined!!
