BRODY: FIVE MONTHS OLD

My Sweet Mister Man,
Could you be any more precious? i am truly, madly, deeply in love with you, your sweet smile, your giggles, your sparkly eyes.. i just love everything about you!
This past month you had a big problem sleeping in your crib, and are back to waking up every few hours at night, it is exhausting, and were just waiting for that magic month when you start sleeping all night! you love to sleep in your swing and honestly if i leave you in that i think you would sleep all night long.. i just am trying to brake that habit, and trying to get you into that darn crib.. little toot! you do nap well though, normally a couple hours in the morning and a couple smaller naps still in the afternoon, although you dont take your naps well when were not at home.. sometimes you will in your carseat in the car (as long as you’re not SCEAMING…sadly, you’re still not a very big fan of your carseat!)

This month you also had oatmeal, you were not to crazy about it at first but after a week or so of trying it, now love it and have also been eating fruits and veggies once a day as well, you really love food! you are still nursing, and having some formula too!

You’re definitely at the stage where EVERYTHING goes in your mouth and you are drooling like a mad man. I just know that we’re going to see a little tooth poking through at any moment.

you are really starting to enjoy your toys, your sophie giraffe is probably your favorite at the moment, because she is just so easy to hold and chew on, but you also like your rings, and crinkly puppy that makes noise. you dont mind being on your tummy, and often will lay and play on the floor for awhile giving mommy some free time to get other things done, but you still have not rolled over from your back to your tummy, honestly you dont even try?! lol  o-well i'm sure you will soon enough!

you do love to "talk" to us you squeal with excitement when you see peyton dancing and being silly, its so cute.

with each passing day our hearts grow bigger and bigger for you, mr man. you are a joy and so very special to all of us, and we are all excited to sing happy half Birthday to you next month.
