OREGON STATE FAIR 2012
Oh, the State Fair.
What a silly...fun...warm...gross...fabulous...dirty...expensive...memorable time we had. ....but, we had fun, none the less.
the first thing we did was the rides, we wanted to get that done and out of the way.
brody got to ride the canoes this year making them just like his brother and 2 sisters his first fair ride..(can’t really say first ride ever because he rode some at six flags last month)
he enjoyed them, he smiled a few times but was pretty serious for most of the ride : )
bailey and peyton didn’t ride too many rides together, peyton is still too short for the bigger rides and bailey was too big for the kiddie rides
bailey really enjoyed this!
look at peyton enjoying those swings!
peyton won herself and brody a blow up hammer
then after rides it was time to eat.. bailey and I were starving because we didn’t eat breakfast that morning
we got a ton of teriyaki chicken and noodles and rice.. it was pretty yummy!
then we walked over to the animals.. the cows were first
brody wouldn’t go near the big cows but when he seen this baby cow he walked right up to it and petted it for awhile it was so sweet!
peyton liked feeding the baby goats, but the bigger ones were pretty aggressive and tried to eat the food right out of her hands a few times which she was a little afraid of them since they were as big as her!
then it was finally time for our sno cones!!! (we had looked for them earlier but couldn’t find them)
I got grape, grandma got strawberry and peyton got bubble gum… yummy!! I LOVE sno cones probably more than any kind of treat in the summer!!
{never mind the blue sno cone mouth lol}
the last thing we did was went into the buildings to see some of the fun stuff they were selling, we got this amazing brush for missy so far its been great so thankful we finally are getting somewhere with all the crazy shedding hair!!
we had a fun day, so glad grandma was able to come with us. see you again Oregon State fair in 2014!
