“GIFTS OF TIME AND LOVE ARE SURELY THE BASIC INGREDIENTS OF A TRULY MERRY CHRISTMAS.” ~ PEG BRACKEN

We had a full Christmas season…just like everyone and just like every year. But how I LOVE it. All of the prep…the details…the traditions…the memories….its my VERY favorite TIME of year! here is a peek at some of TheTrueFam’s Christmas Day memories. It was full of family TIME and more LOVE than could be measured!

{Disclaimer; I didn’t get as many pics this year, I did not take very many at all of the older two because they either were covering their faces or making faces that look ridiculous}

Ryley of course was up by 6 am and came out and got his goods, I never get pics of him going through his stocking because were all still sleeping usually..but the other kids were all up by 7:30 checking out their gifts.. Santa brought Ryley a golf club he’s been really wanting, a couple DS games (he’s crazy and got a new 3DS XL from his dad for Christmas) Bailey got the Urban Decay Naked Palette and a new Northface jacket, Peyton wanted another Doll and a doll bed and doll clothes, Brody asked for a wubble ball and a firetruck ?! (that was easy)..I think they were all happy with their gifts and they all got most everything on their lists!

we had another perfect Christmas filled with enough laughter and joy to {hopefully} carry us through until we get to do it all over again!!! we truly are blessed, but ultimately it doesn't really matter in the end how many nights we go to see lights or how many gifts we get or give or how “AMAZING” our Christmas is….. having sweet babies to love and remembering that Jesus was born to live and die for us and how overwhelming that love is, is the real joy of Christmas!
