CELEBRATING THANKSGIVING WITH OUR LITTLE TURKEY!

There’s something about attending a preschool Thanksgiving feast that makes me thankful in a whole new way! The food, the sweet prayers, the cute little handprint turkeys the kids make. Its really all to much to handle!!! : ) So, its no surprise that I loved being able to celebrate Thanksgiving with Brody and his sweet little classmates. What a love…what a sweet little turkey he is! I always love seeing him in his other little world..and I was reminded of how thankful I am for his precious teacher, Mrs Davis, and for the fact that she teaches him about Jesus at school each week! I feel so comfortable dropping my baby off with her three mornings a week and know that he is being taught and loved the whole time hes there! What a blessing!

BRODY JAY IS A WHOLE HAND!

There are few better days than your Birthday! Until you’re a momma. Then, there are few better days than your babies Birthdays! I get giddy going to bed on my kids Birthday eve. Reminiscing of that day…however many years before…the eve before they entered our lives and changed it forever! So, its without surprise that greeting them on their birthday morning is one of the sweetest moments of my year! Happy 5th Birthday, Sweet Brody Jay!  we started the morning with a quick trip to Starbucks for some Birthday treats! (since Brody’s Birthday is on veteran’s day there is never any school or work for me so it will always be a fun day!)

we went to target and icked out a few little gifts and goodies and stuck around the house for most of the afternoon then when daddy got home we took him to chuck e cheese.. not my favorite place to be but when your baby asks to go for his Birthday you oblige!

of course he loved it!

all week Brody was the Star of the week and we got to send in pictures and to fill out a questionaire all about him to be put up on the bulletin board in the classroom!

Grandpa Blain and Becca brought over this cool board with money on it so he could buy whatever he wanted! (he was super excited!!!)

then on Friday Brody got to bring cupcakes to school to celebrate! (and he was excited to give 2 of his own dollars during chapel that day.. sweet boy!)

It was a special day! Celebrating our sweet 5 year old all day long! I have a feeling its going to be one of the best years yet! : )
