Pumpkin Patch

Since it was a sunny day, we thought we should probably take advantage of it and take the kids to the pumpkin patch, because you never know here in oregon if it will be nice enough to visit the pumpkin patch!

(sorry but ryley is missing , out running around with his friend brian who came with us)

peyton rode the pony too but the pictures turned out blurry and ryley didn't because he was too big

she liked riding the tractors

and absolutly LOVED feeding the animals, and for anyone who knows peyton knows she does not care for animals too much she likes to look at them but really prefers them not to be close to her, but once i showed her how to feed them she loved it, and fortunatly the animals were very soft when eating and pretty much just licked it out of our hands!

and we spent the majority of our time here at the slide, the girls had a blast going down it every which way possible

and we finally ran into ryley and brian in the corn maze, they were just running around being boys the whole time here!

then it was time for the hayride!

and last comes the good part... they were having a pie eating contest so ryley entered (without me knowing he did... )

until his name got called.......

we could tell he wasn't liking it, he was taking tiny bites ha ha!

he didn't win (which im glad he didn't i would not of even let him enter) and he actually had a tummy ache for awhile afterwards so we left, but felt better later, all in all we had a great trip!

Movie Date

today after school i took the girls to see cloudy with a chance of meatballs, it was not so much like the book, but still very, very cute!
and the best part was it was in 3D
peyton would watch anything with some popcorn in front of her, and bailey really enjoyed it, since they had read the book several times in class and she was getting ready to do an oral report on it at school!

and finally today was peyton's first day of preschool (at home of course) she was so excited this year, she finally is old enough to understand most of the cirriculum i teach, this will be such a fun year for the both if us!

geesh does time fly, i cant believe what used to be my baby girl is now in 2nd grade.

Bailey's Open House

Tonight was bailey's open house, which was nice to be able to go the night before to take all her school supplies and meet her teacher. (which we already knew because she was ryley's 2nd grade teacher)

Back to School

the title doesn't even begin to describe what a monumentous day it was! Ryley ventured off into the world of Middle School! I am still in shock, but because i ALWAYS have been able to take the kids on their first day of school, this was no exception (even though ryley would of liked that i didn't) it made for a very early morning!

he was very nervous, i knew he would be ok once he got there!

if he knew i was taking these he would of been dying of embarrassment, being followed into school by his personal mammarazzi! lol

i can't wait until he gets home so he can tell me all about his first day of junior high!
