BRODY: SEVEN MONTHS OLD

 My little man,

I feel that this month you have become just that...a little man! You aren't my newborn anymore but my precious little boy! I look at you and can't believe all that you have learned in seven short months...
You now roll from your back to your tummy with ease. You sit up like such a big boy, You are starting to scoot a little and starting to jump in your jumparoo. You love to "talk"- especially when you're trying so hard to stay awake in the car - and you love to blow raspberries...you think you're so funny!
Another thing that makes you seem more "big boy" to me is that you now eat all kinds of baby food and you LOVE it!--- squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, peaches, bananas, pears, apples---you make such a mess but love every bite. you are now having more bottles than nursing, i nurse you 2-3 times a day but i know it dont fill you up so its just a bonding special time for us, and i love it, and honestly i'm not ready to give that up just yet, i also pump and give it to you in bottles, so your still getting momma's milk, just not as much as before.

Sleeping at our house has its ups and downs, you had another cold, so that threw off your sleeping in your crib once again... your determined to not have to sleep in that thing i'm convinced!! : )  you had a pretty bad cough so we tried to keep you upright in your swing, which you seemed to do lots better in, then the past few days you have been crying and whining alot more than usual and chewing on things and when you wake up in the night you wont just go back to sleep with your binky you scream, so some teeth have GOT to be making an appearance any day now??!! surely that will explain the gallons of drool that you've been producing! ha ha!
So, as month six has turned to seven, and month seven will soon turn into eight, know that I love you more with each passing day---I love your hugs and kisses, the way you snuggle on my shoulder when you get tired and the way you squeal when you see me walk into the room. Please never grow out of being so precious to your momma.

Love,
Your Mommy
