Those of you that know me, know that I am an AVID planner! I love to plan!!! So, it is probably no surprise that I started planning Brody’s 2nd birthday party around mid summer! Iknew that it was not going to be as big as last years, that I wanted it to be more simple but yet cute and fun! and since mustaches are the new fad right now, I thought it would be too cute!!
I had fun planning the food menu, and I made sure it was simple things to make!
chips
we had bottled soda drinks, along with bottled waters and capri suns
pretzel rods that I made the night before
a ton of toppings for the polish sausage and hot dog bar including, cheese, pepperoni, olives, bacon, onions, sauerkraut, cucumber, lettuce, tomato’s, green onions, frito’s and lots of sauces
I made broccoli grape and bacon bowtie pasta (so delish), and veggie cups
chili (for chili dogs)
and the dogs
I didn’t get photo’s of everyone there (I wish I would have) but here are a few of the kids that I did get pics of next year I will be better about getting pics of all the guests
after we all ate it was time for little man to open his gifts… he sure had fun opening them this year.. can’t wait to watch him at Christmas!!
After gifts, it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" and blow out the candles!!! I loved hearing everyone sing to my little man...and he did so good at blowing out his candles...
It was a perfect, fun-filled afternoon with playing, eating, laughing and celebrating one very loved little 2 year old.
Where did u get those adorable invitations???? The party came out so nice.I want to do mustache theme for my son that is also going to b 2
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fabulous bash. I am impressed with these fun photos. Even we all are ready to step into the festive season and there will be huge celebrations in the family. My son’s birthday is on next weekend so we too would be hosting a fun bash at one of the garden New York venues.
