I love having quick and easy meals ready at my fingertips, so when I was invited from bzz agent to try the new kroger skillet meals I was pretty happy! Kroger is a favorite grocery store of mine! I love the wide selection of products and everything is always fresh. I got to try out a Kroger Skillet Meal, Kroger Garlic Bread, and Fresh Selections Salad Kits. There are a wide variety of Kroger Skill Meals that it was hard to choose one. Finally I chose the Tuscan Style Penne pasta and chicken since I love red peppers and onions. All I had to do was open the package and put it in a frying pan on medium heat with the cover on. It was amazingly easy and only took ten minutes. the salad was great and perfectly fresh! and the garlic bread was amazing!

A Fun “Not Our Favorite Holiday” Holiday!
I admit Halloween has never been a holiday that I really like or get excited for… I LOVE fall and pumpkin patches just Halloween itself is just not one of our favorites… as a kid we weren't allowed to trick or treat..ever!! we would get to dress up and go to our school carnival or have a home Halloween party or go to friends, but my mom always thought trick or treating wasn't very safe, and I have to agree somewhat, but we try to switch it up and rotate one year going to our church to play games and the next trick or treating in our neighborhood, the kids enjoy it, but then again they would enjoy staying home and handing out candy too. anyways… I don’t decorate our house for Halloween were not into the guts and glory, scary stuff, I've never wanted my kids to dress up as anything evil such as witches, monsters, devil’s etc.…and we don’t allow our kids to trick or treat after about 12 years old either… its unnecessary in our opinion and looks kinda silly (I wont hand out candy to kids that look over that either, I just tell them were out! ha!) So this year Bailey was 11 and we gave her the option, she decided she did not want to trick or treat up until like 2 days before Halloween then she changed her mind to have 1 more fun last year of trick or treating!… our fun festivities started off Wednesday the night before by carving pumpkins!!! brody refused to touch the insides of the pumpkin.. but the girls had fun!
so brody just painted his!
missy wanted to be a part of all the action too.
afterwards we had caramel apples for dessert!
the next day was Halloween and at peytons school they wont allow costumes but instead they do crazy hair or hat day! we always do the crazy hair… you cant see but we sprayed a TON of glitter spray in her hair!!! she looked pretty cute if you ask me! : )
trick or treating!!
poor little guy was exhausted and ready for bed before we even left to go so as soon as he hit his carseat he was out!
(and just for fun we had krispy kreme halloween donuts a couple days before too!)
and this little nut loves her wig so much she wore it around everywhere the week after halloween!!??!
