When I really let it sink in, I can hardly stand it! My Savior died for me.. and for these 4 precious children of mine…and for YOU!!! But, he didn’t stay dead! He is risen!!! He is alive!!! and I am forever overwhelmed and grateful!
Our Easter was full of smiles and remembrance. May we never, ever get over the cross!
I took Brody to the mall to visit the Easter Bunny on good friday. we typically don’t make a big deal about the Easter bunny, the Easter bunny brings the kids their baskets which of course is exciting to them, but I really want them to know the TRUE meaning of Easter the most, and that its about celebrating that Jesus conquered death and is risen!!
Saturday morning we took them up to an egg hunt at deepwood estate, none of us were too impressed so we probably wont be back next year, it was WAY too many kids, angry greedy parents and just overwhelming..I’m incredibly thankful that Easter is about so much more than Easter eggs!
after the egg hunt we went back home to color some eggs and start some of our cooking for the next day!
he loves to color the eggs!
and peyton loved making these pretzel flowers for me!
after we got home, daddy filled some eggs and hid them all outside just for fun to find…(like a REAL egg hunt)
we also egged our neighbors..
then it was time to plant the magic jellybeans…
later that night the Easter bunny finally came!
the older two got several giftcards.. while the younger 2 got more goodies
one of brody’s favorite things was this snackeez.. he has seen the commercial and always asks for it!
searching for the eggs the bunny hid
the jellybeans made lollipops again : )
all dressed up ready for church!
service was beautiful of course!
random fun pics from grandma and grandpa’s
right after we got home that evening there was a pretty rainbow..so perfect!
then the kids wanted to do the confetti eggs…
It was a beautiful day! One of my favorites!!
