Whew!!! Christmastime is BUSY!!! It always is, right?…or does it progressively get busier every year? I can’t quite figure it out. But, one thing is for sure! I LOVE IT!!! I love the joy that seems so much stronger at Christmastime…and, it is one of the BEST times to be a Momma. I think I finally can get caught up on this sweet blog ‘o mine, this weekend.. we have NO PLANS all weekend (well other than church Sunday)…so here is how we spent our Christmas… stay tuned for lots more posts to come this weekend…
On Christmas eve morning we woke up and started baking Jesus’s Birthday cake, Peyton always has fun doing this!
then later that afternoon we all got cleaned up and headed over to Grandma Donna’s house
but first stopped to pick out special carrots for the reindeer…
we had so much yummy food, pasta, sweet and sour wings, nacho dip, potato skins with all the fixins, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, a veggies tree, rotel filled phylo dough cups… and more!!
I made this cute little cream cheese tree with crackers … (it looked cuter on pinterest but the peach salsa was good) and the red pepper cheesey crackers are always yummy!
there were also all kinds of desserts!!

little man has been obsessed with light up shoes since one of my daycare little girls has a pair, he constantly takes hers and they fight over them.. so now he has his own!..
Bailey was happy to get her cotton candy maker which was high on her wish list.. seriously cotton candy is like the ONLY candy this girl will eat?!!

we had a great Christmas eve, and then it was time to head home for our truefam Christmas eve traditions…
