A couple days after Christmas I took the kids up to the Kroc center to swim… the girls are little fish and LOVE swimming!
Brody is still intimidated by the water and does NOT like water splashed in his face.. looks like we probably should take some mom and me swimming lessons again this summer!
Brody did end up warming up to the water a little and even went down the toddler slide a few times
drink and snack break!
then….. we took a walk over to the lazy river side and brody likes to play RUN on the medal flooring and look at swimmers below.. well after I had told him to stop running several times (even spanking him once for it) he finally slipped and fell backwards hitting the back of his head.. he cried ..HARD and I felt awful for him.. we ended up getting our stuff and getting dressed and leaving (we had been there a couple hours anyways) poor little guy had a pretty good sized goose egg on the back of his head… I gave him tylenol when we got home and he seemed fine the rest of the evening.. and thankfully it was way smaller the next day.
