.. . ,,.Why in the world would we make a big deal about Brody’s half birthday?
Well….why not!?!?!?
On Sat May 11th, my little man turned TWO & a half! And, if you were ever a kid, you know that the number with the half next to it is VERY different from just the number. and we have celebrated his half bdays since he was 6 months, and again at 18 months. So, in honor of my big Two and a half year old, we did LOTS of little celebrating. It started Friday the day before his half birthday. I took him to the park to play and we stopped at Sonic for lunch and a milkshake and a few other errands.
the next morning we woke up and had yummy donuts and fruit for breakfast (brody’s fave) and after lunch we set up the pool and water table to play in the water!
then we all took a walk up to the park to play
then we came home to bbq some dinner and let brody open his little sussies (the girls picked him out a few dollar tree toys) (and I got him a couple pairs of summer pj’s)
then for dessert we had home-made strawberry shortcake! it was YUM!
For it only being a half birthday, Brody was SPOILED for sure! he had a weekend that would bring a smile to any Two and a half year old’s face! Oh how I love my little man!!! And, oh how I love celebrating with him…even the little things!!!
