Tuesday night was back to school open house, so after an early dinner, we walked up to the school with all of bailey’s school supplies (which there were A LOT) peyton didn’t’ get to go to her class because they haven't announced who her teacher is yet, they wont until next monday after evaluations, anyways… bailey has the same teacher as last year (Mr Whetzel) but this year her school has finally converted to having some split classrooms and her’s was one of them, so she is now in a class with 3rd and 4th graders, she was a little upset about it at first, but I reminded her how when she was in first grade at Keizer elementary she was also in a split class with 1st and 2nd graders and she LOVED it, she looked up to the older kids and her 2 closest friends that year were older than her, so I told her this year that there might be a 3rd grader that would love to be her friend. and she does really like her teacher so she is ok with the idea now! she also will still be doing TAG work, which means she has her “special group” (they call them) so she will be doing some of her subjects with them in a different class anyways.

I really can’t believe this is the last year ryley will be in middle school and will be going to high school next year, I really don’t know how I’m going to handle this?, I was very emotional the first day of 6th grade for him, and I can only imagine 9th being even harder on me… : (
and missy B, being a 4th grader is pretty crazy also.. why does time go so fast anymore??
peyton didn’t’ get to go until today for a trial day for evaluations so next Tuesday is her official first day of school
