Monday the 7th, I woke up around 6 am and started getting ready shortly after everyone else started to wake up…. except the teenager.. he was draggin! lol but he finally got up and showered and we went down to the concierge to grab some quick breakfast, and we were on our way, back to California Adventure for the morning!
we attempted to get in the Cars radiator springs ride line.. but it was about an hour wait so we decided to head over to the toy story mania ride.. we KNEW little man would like that one!
it was already warm out but felt good too bad we knew it was going to get hotter!
this is a 3D ride where you wear glasses and shoot at things and it keeps your score, I think ryley enjoyed this ride just as much as brody! ha!
this was hands down brody’s favorite ride! I think it being buzz light year had a little to do with it, but he also LOVED shooting at things he giggled, talked, yelled and pointed at everything through the entire ride! it was hilarious, precious and priceless!
this was one of those rides that would have been fun to do over and over again, unfortunately the line for it wouldn't allow that it gets REALLY long!
then was the big moment when brandon, ryley and bailey all went on California Screamin!
after that we went over to the grizzly river run, while I waited with brody daddy and the other 3 rode it!
so fun! (too bad you cant see peyton but she was next to brandon)
then we walked over to the monsters inc ride and happen to run into Sulley!
brody isn't a big fan of the monsters inc movie (I think some parts of the movie scare him), and wasn't sure what to think of sulley, he wasn't afraid of him but he didn’t love him either
then it was time to head over to watch playhouse disney live on stage!
such a fun show! all of the kids have enjoyed watching this in the past at one point! (peyton and brody both liked it this time!)
then we decided to head to downtown disney to eat some lunch at Earl of Sandwich, but we spotted pluto on our way out so we had to get a pic!
Earl of sandwich had really good food! and good prices! peyton got a yummy chicken Cesar salad!
after we ate we went over to Disneyland, we got our park entrance picture finally!

we stopped at city hall and got brody (and peyton) their 1st visit pin’s
and even though this wasn't her first visit, it was the first she really remembers! : )
Disneyland was so much busier than California Adventure everyday….
the next stop was the Jungle Cruise.. the line was crazy long but seemed to move pretty quickly.. still we waited for about 25 minutes and some of the line was outside and it was SO HOT, I finally took brody’s shirt off at one point for a bit!
but we finally got on, and it felt good to be in the cool shaded boat.. and brody and peyton thought it was pretty fun!
after we got off we had to get our dole whip floats, and peyton spotted some watermelon (her most favorite fruit ever)
after brody ate some of the dole whip he decided it was nap time : )
we found Jasmine and Aladdin!
and we got lucky here, on our way out of the park we just happen to see Mickey and Minnie coming out for autographs and photo’s we got right up front! score!!!!
I was a bit bummed brody was asleep though : (
on our way back to the hotel little man woke up so we got into our swimsuits and headed down to the pool

after swimming and getting all cleaned up it was time to go over to the Disney hotel because we had dinner reservations at Goofy’s Kitchen!
the excitement was building for brody and peyton.. they couldn't wait to see which characters would be there for dinner!
when we first got checked in we got to have our picture and get autographs from goofy!
bailey just “thought” she was too cool for goofy .. until he gave her a big ol hug!
such a perfect dinner at a perfect place!
we only had to wait about 5 more minutes and then we were seated at our table and right after we sat down pluto came over!
then we all started making our plates! they had yummy food and the funnest menu! they had pb&j pizza, seafood, fruit, salad, rice, pasta’s, fish, prime rib, potatoes, regular pizza, veggies.. SO MUCH to choose from and the dessert menu was almost as big with ice cream sundae’s, cookies, cakes, dirt cups (which brody LOVED) basically any kind of dessert you could think of!
brody only ate a few bites of pizza, one or two bites of yogurt and 1 strawberry.. he wouldn't touch the mac n cheese but he kept asking for chicken nuggets, we always buy the costco whole grain mickey mouse nuggets so I guess he assumed they would have them here ,but you can hear him asking for them in the video below.. he thought the popcorn shrimp was nuggets!
he loved that dirt cup with pudding, oreo’s and gummy worms though : )

and then there was the Mad Hatter! he was silly and fun!

after dinner we walked through downtown disney and watched through the window at one of the shops while they made Olaf and mickey caramel apple’s
we went inside studio 365, peyton wanted her picture next to the outfit that the star from Jessie wore on set! and bailey bought herself some minnie ears (she had been looking for some specific ones the past couple days)
the girls also got some pixie dust sprinkled on them
and this is where things turned south…. we made it into Disneyland Park, walked around for a bit and passed a bathroom over by big thunder mountain, we stopped so the girls could run in and go, peyton came out first, then bailey we started to walk down a ways and about 3-4 minutes later bailey realized she left her cell phone in the stall of the bathroom, brandon and her ran back to the bathroom, it was busy with people coming in and out, but the phone was gone, they searched everywhere in there, and asked a few cast members nearby if anyone had turned a phone in, unfortunately it was never found, we filed a report but nothing showed up the whole trip…poor girl is probably one of the most responsible kids I've ever met and it just was a complete accident, she was SO upset and it literally ruined her night, she cried and cried still trying to enjoy the evening but you could tell she was very upset, she literally cried herself to sleep that night : ( all of the pictures she had been taking of this memorable trip were gone!
brandon and peyton went and rode the Astro Orbitor ride, then we all rode the buzz light year astro blasters.. again brody loved that ride too!
after we rode the buzz lightyear ride, we decided to head back to the hotel, the stolen cell phone just killed the evening energy we had before, but I had to get a couple pictures of how pretty the park is at night!
we were all tired, our feet hurt and we were ready for bed surely tomorrow we would wake up feeling lots better!
